Quick blog to let you cats know we have a new podcast up to check out from our recent trip to LA where we worked with Greg Kirsten (who with Lily Allen has just cleaned up at the Ivor Novello awards - nice one Greg).
The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice there's no sign of 'Britain's Greatest Bass Player (The Sun)' - Kai couldn't make it on this trip but with the advance in modern technology (skype) it was like having him there in the room via satellite link and he played his stuff down over the wire...
I know you're all waiting to hear what's going on with the new album, well I'm not gonna lie - we've had a few things go down that have been really frustrating and meant that things have taken longer than we'd like, but currently we're hunkered down in Cherry Lips working at the soul face and we've narrowed the list of songs down to 15 or 16 of which around 10 or 12 of those are almost finished and sounding REALLY GREAT!!!
So, hold tight, hopefully there won't too much longer to wait - all of us are gagging to get back out and do some shows hopefully you all feel the same way.
Go easy, step lightly...
